This presentation will review the ins and outs of coding for casting, strapping, and splinting, all common ways of treating integumentary and musculoskeletal conditions and injuries. We will talk about when we can report these services, and all that is involved in sending clean claims for quick payments on these services. We will also review the supplies that we can report to get paid the costs the practice incurs on these supplies. In 2022 there were changes made in CPT to clarify when these services are included in other procedures, and when they can be reported separately.
