This webinar will discuss employer’s obligations and technical requirements of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) including common mistakes made. Because many medical conditions under the FMLA can also be disabilities pursuant to the ADA, we will discuss the interplay between the two laws. Engaging in the interactive discussion of how to accommodate a sick employee is often overlooked and not documented corrected. Both laws can easily be abused by employees and we will address how to curb common abuses.
